The program features Benjamin Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, a lively and educational work that highlights each section of the orchestra in turn, building to a brilliant finale.
We are also proud to showcase the winner of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition, celebrating the next generation of musical talent. The concert concludes with Jacques Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, including the famous Can-Can, bringing the afternoon to a joyful close.
