Volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer with the Hastings Symphony Orchestra:
- Friend of the HSO Where would we be without our Friends? Friends help with a range of tasks from distributing concert programs to calling sponsors and baking brownies for musicians’ lunches. There’s something for every person and every skill set.
- Committee Member You don’t have to be a board member to be part of a committee! We are currently looking for individuals to help plan our 100th season and help create unique sponsorship opportunities. Committees are perfect for those who want to be involved at an organizational level in a specific way.
- Advisory Council Experts needed! We’re always looking for trusted professionals to advise the Board in specific ways. Lend your knowledge without the time commitment. Grant, business, law, music, and other professionals are always welcome.
- Board Member Take your seat at the table! Board members work closely with the conductor and business manager to make everything the HSO does possible. Coming from all walks of life, board members gather monthly for planning, committee updates, and lots of laughs.
All of these opportunities start with a simple conversation with Sara, the HSO Business Manager. Email HSO(at)hastingssymphony.com to get started. Looking forward to hearing from you!
